Hello again group 16!
Please read this up-date very thoroughly, as we only have 3 more class periods to wrap-up what has been a good semester of class. :)
As you all might know, I will be turning in my "Individual Performance Evaluations" next week. In response I would like to give you all one last warning as to what I am missing from you and what you guys have done a great job with.
Missing:
1) I need for all of you to email me the grade you received on IM2 (eearl@purdue.edu). Please send me a blank email with your score in the subject line. This way I don't have to open every single email to retrieve your scores.
2) Blogs... many of you are either not checking, or not responding to our Team Blog. Please go through the Blog Index and make sure that you have responded to:
-(3/29) Time Management
-This week's Blog entitled (4/5) Active Listening
-Taking the lead, my day as Assistant Manager on the evening of your promotion
*I will be posting a blog in response to both Wednesday's class, as well as next Monday's class so be on the look out to "reply" to those.
3) I need for Lisa Butler, Courtney Hurlburt, Abigail Lewark, Erin Thelen, and Julie Wilson to please email me (or print out and bring to class Wednesday) the completed record of what you have or have not turned in for this class. I will email you the Excel file.
Now for the good stuff...
1) The following team members were on Feinberg's list for "very, very, very good" IM2s:
-Shawna Harris
-Jenna Jerkovich (also received most creative title for "Detecting Leadership" on Sherlock Holmes)
-Lisa Butler
...And the list continues with team members who made Feinberg's "Wall of Fame" for their IM2s:
-Courtney Hurlburt
-Erin Thelen
-Ariel Martin
-Chelsea Meade
-Kaitlin Ward
Great work!!!
2) As I look over out attendance records, I am proud to say that we average about 2 missing teammates per class.... that is pretty impressive! I REALLY appreciate your dedication to coming to class. Let's finish strong with perfect attendance.
3) We only have 3 more classes left. Whoot whoot!!
Last, but not least, you should all be aware that our Group Memo assignment is due this Wednesday, 4/7.
Instructions from Syllabus:
"Select an article from a business magazine or newspaper. Write a leadership analysis of whatever the article is concerning. The article must be recent (last 6 months). The article must be turned in with the paper. One copy of the paper and article is to be turned in during class and one copy of the paper is to be email to (xdj1@purdue.edu) with "GM1" in the subject line."
This afternoon, I will be emailing everyone a copy of the rough draft of our Group Memo. Please read over carefully, make sure that it adheres to the expectations in the syllabus, edit it for grammar and content, and email me your revisions by 10pm Tuesday (4/6). I expect EVERY ONE to peer edit this paper... if you do not it will decrease your grade significantly. If time is an issue, call or text me before the deadline at (765) 749-1212.
Best Regards.
Erika
